Procedure for connecting to VDS/VPS Linux via SSH

  1. In the Host Name field, enter the IP address of your server.

  2. Next, enter a port. The default setting is 22

  3. Click the button to connect - Open.

Next, you need to specify the user name (the default is root). Then enter the password.

To insert text into PuTTY, you need to press PCM (right mouse button) for Windows.
